Hey There, I’m Jennifer!

Currently, I’m an art director at NBC where I oversee the visuals team for TODAY Digital. The team creates and commissions illustrations and photography for the website as well as TODAY’s multiple social channels, brands and programs. Our original and assigned photography, illustration and design work can be viewed on Instagram at @nbcnewsart.

Before I worked at NBC, I graduated from Ball State University with a degree in journalism graphics. In school, I was a graphics reporter for the Chicago Tribune during the London and Sochi Olympics, where I created and conceptualized in-depth information graphics. After college, I spent six months as an editorial designer at The Boston Globe before moving to New York to work for TIME. At TIME, I designed cover packages, special issues, features and department pages as well as multimedia content that helped translate the print product across their digital and social media platforms.

When I’m not working, I’m usually en route to a dance cardio class (I’m a certified 305 Fitness instructor!), reading one of many checked-out library books (find my one-sentence reviews of books I’ve read here!), singing Carly Rae Jepsen songs very, very off-key in my Brooklyn apartment (apologies to my neighbors, who can without a doubt hear me through the walls!) or hiking with my 75-pound-pup, Charlie.
